An addition to your cottage or family home is the easiest way to increase both the square footage and the value in tens of thousands of dollars. It is unfortunately also the easiest way to ruin your cottage or family home and cost you tens of thousands of extra dollars with the wrong or inexperienced contractor. Fortunately South Waseosa Construction has virtually seen and done it all since we starting building for ourselves in 1985. Our approach to projects such as these is unique, we understand that most people put an addition on the home or cottage is because there is an emotional or sentimental value beyond what money can buy when you pick up your life and move into a new one instead.
As such we approach your addition project like it's our own, we'll sit down with you and work out in the initial drawings whatever encompasses the things that you'd like to gain most in your home or cottage's new design and floorplan. Then discuss the costs involved, time schedule, and all of the other details involved so that you know exactly what to expect as the project moves along from start to finish.
With all of our projects, we'll handle all of the necessary paperwork, permits, and inspections. Also, you can be sure we'll do our best to make sure we make your addition look like it belongs. We'll match the older existing siding, or put all new siding all the way around the house, the same goes for your fascia board, soffits, and roofing. We can get or match just about any metal, asphalt, flat, cedar shake, laminates, stone, or concrete system.
We'll do all new foundations or expand existing along with basement block and ICF walls if needed, and can even match existing Post & Beam, Timber Framing, and (Scandinavian) Full Scribe Log Construction.
